David Falloure writes on many subjects, but often tying into history. Among the publications featuring his work are the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Heights Tribune, the Examiner News Group, and the Buzz Magazines. Subjects covered include the experiences of Korean War veterans, the last gunfight at the Rice Hotel, the capture of Mexican couriers before San Jacinto, ghostly legends in Bellaire, Texas, the legacy of Henry Beachell, Galveston after the storm, and more.

An award-winning marketing executive with more than 30-years of experience in brand building and marketing communications, Falloure combines promoting commerce with his interests and pursuits of historical subjects. He wrote Brands In History, A Unique Twist on History through a Marketing Lens, and Sheer Will: The Story of the Port of Houston and the Houston Ship Channel. Falloure was featured in an award-winning documentary about the Houston Ship Channel centennial in 2014. His work on the Port of Houston led to his latest book, Deep Water: The Story of Beaumont and its Port.

Falloure is a husband and father of three sons, and makes his home in Texas. He is also an admiral in the Texas Navy, an organization dedicated to preserving Texas heritage and history. He also serves on the board of the Houston History Alliance.
